Why Hast Thou(s) Forsaken Me?

I am not here to name and shame anyone, but I am very sad that somehow the number of people who will run with me has dwindled down to zero (0). Nevermind that one person has a broken ankle and foot. Or that another person did a 4TH night of running with me yesterday to make up for the fact that she's not going tonight. Or that another person isn't even signed up for the program and has still managed to come. Or that yet another person isn't signed up for the program and has to "work late" :). Oh, or that another of my friends is settling into a new house and trying to rid her house of lice (a 24 hour job when you have 17 kids, I'm told).

I guess this is a test of my emotional strength. I just get so darn bored when there's nobody there to entertain me as I "run" (it's about the speed of a fast walk for normal people).

That's OK. Gwen Stefani (et. all) will come along with me. She will entertain me with musical stories about being "just a girl" and "walking into spiderwebs". I do not sing songs when I walk into spiderwebs. I squeal like a girl and twitch like I'm coming off a Cocaine high. But that's just me. She's obviously the stronger person here, and that's why she'll inspire me to continue plodding along.

As a special aside to TheBoy: I am currently listening to music from 1996ish on my
MP3 player. It might be nice if I could get you to put some fresher music on it. I mean, for heaven's sakes, she's a solo act now and my MP3 player doesn't even know it!

You are correct! I have not yet fallen to the monopoly. But the more problems I have with my two non-Ipods, the more I think about it.

iPods are the most overrated and overpriced products I've seen in quite a while. Meh.

iPod! Music for pretentious sheeple!

;-)

Now just sit back and watch the fireworks...

Love my Sansa e280....am actually considering a Zune 80, just to have all my tunes with me wherever I go, but who knows right now. The new Sansa Fuze looks sharp too

Yes, Ipod is overrated and overpriced, but is a decent performer, as much as I hate to say it, but not good enough to justify the price of "elitism"; it's limited in functionality, although Rockbox makes an Ipod much better
well, enough is enough, I reckon

Holy Snarks, Batman!!!!

I can't help it that I have 17 children...well, I guess I could have, but my darned husband is just such a cutie!

BTW- my Ipod is super fabulous! I had to show just a tiny bit of Ipod love!
