Holy Cow!

Today I went to McAlister's with Hayden. I ordered a turkey sandwich. Why then did my sandwich have little pieces of roast beef hiding in it? In my mini-rant about it (to Hayden) I said, "Now what if I happened to be Hindu or something? It's simply not OK to mix beef with turkey. If I were Hindu, I'd march up to the counter and say, 'HOLY COW, PEOPLE!'" I amuse myself.

Anyway, I really like Nichole Nordeman. (Which has nothing to do with the aforementioned experience at McAlister's.) Here's a song of hers and the lyrics.

I'm a horrid customer - I would have taken it back. Especially because I don't eat red meat.

You laughing is the best way, tho. We'll live much longer if humor pops up instead of dismay.

I don't eat red meat either (except on the very very odd occasion). That's why I flung the little bits of meat off the sandwich in a little fit of dismay.

Hi! It's been awhile, huh?

I really love Nichole Nordeman too. I think Brave is quite possibly the best album ever.
