Freecycle Assyness

This is a message that was posted by a moderator on our local yahoo group:

Freecycle was formed 4 years ago to help keep the landfills empty.
Coupons, gift certificates, gift cards, soft drink points, sweepstakes,
etc. DO NOTHING towards keeping things out of the landfill.

These things ARE allowed on FaulknerCountyFreecycleCafe. If you are
not a member of that group, please accept this invitation to join it.

If you are moderated, and make a post for one of these things, it will
be deleted or rejected. If you are not moderated, and make one, it
will be deleted, AND you will earn 1 strike. 2 strikes is what it
takes to be removed from the group. Please honor our guidelines.

Please note that once a post makes it to this list, even if it is
deleted, it will be sent out as individual and Daily Digest mail.
SORRY! That's the way Yahoo! is set up.

Blasted people trying to give things away! Please PUNISH them by revoking their membership and disallowing them to GIVE their unwanted belongings AWAY for FREE!

The funny thing is, there's nothing about that mentioned in the rules. And it's weird that there's a difference in the "consequences" depending on whether you're moderated or not since the person making the post has no control over whether they're moderated or not.

Anyway, I just thought that was kind of funny.
