It's Official

I have a Martha Heart. I was at church this evening for choir rehearsal and saw all the gravel on the sanctuary floor for Journey to the Cross. And the first thing out of my mouth was, "Who gets to clean this up?" I felt a little panic stricken. But the good news is, I don't have to clean it up, so I really don't have to worry about it.

I love Easter, and it's not just because of Cadbury's Mini Eggs (I haven't had any yet this year!). I love the energy of Easter and the worship music. Don't get me wrong, I love the significance of Easter too, but there's something within me that thrives off music and Easter brings us the best church music of the year. If you don't have a place to worship this Easter, come worship with us.

Also, happy spring. I went outside this evening to play ball with the dogs and the ball kept getting lost in the weeds. Pray that it doesn't rain again until I've had a chance to mow...maybe after Wednesday. Busy week ahead. I'm singing two nights this week and I need to leave work early to do so. Har har har. I'm pleased to just not work late these days, so it's going to take some doing. It's good that I have a job where there's flexibility to leave when I need to...except I'm so buried right now that leaving when I need to doesn't really do me any favors. It's a little more difficult now that the client has to route all of their communication through me too. If I'm not there then everything pretty much has to come to a standstill until I can get to it. I hope I don't get hit by a bus.
