Suffer the Little Children Unto Me...

because it's HALLOWEEN! And I have candy! And there are no guarantees about how long that candy will stick around. It's already quite depleted. I am my own trick or treater--all year round. I should have bought crappy candy that I don't like. Then the little children might have better luck.

This morning when I got to work, it was as if I'd walked through the gates of heaven. There are tables covered with candy throughout the commons area. I galloped off the elevator and started to wallow all over the candy, but there were people watching so I had to hold back.

As if that weren't wonderful enough, when I got to my desk, there was a WHOLE PACKAGE of Nestle Swirled Milk Chocolate and Peanut Butter Morsels in my seat. "I gotta say it was a good day!"

And now my internet is sucking. They're taking away our access to a bunch of stuff, so hopefully that "bunch of stuff" will not include blogger. I'd hate to have to go insane.

ETA: I just heard a guy get made fun of for wearing a costume. Then he walked over to someone's desk and said, "I can't believe nobody else is dressed up!" And the girl he was talking to said, "Nobody ever dresses up." He's not a new hire. You'd think he wouldn't be so surprised. I must spy this costume. I should have dressed as a jogger just so I could get away with wearing a track suit and running shoes to work. Must think this through next year.

I should have worn shorts today, the only day I could have gotten away with it and of course I thought about it once I was half way to work. Idiot!

I do not know you so I kinda miss out on the visual as you started to "wallow all over the candy".

the best idea for a halloween costume for one don at their place of employment would be the "invisible" man...or woman... :)

Yes, I could totally pull off the "invisible woman" costume! I'll keep that in mind for next year!
