TGIF

When I woke up yesterday morning, I thought, "I don't want to wake up, but at least it's Friday." Then I was struck with the shocking realization that it wasn't Friday at all. But today it is, right? If it's not, just lie to me.

I'm reading this book called The Pigman by Paul Zindel. It's geared toward teens, I think, but it's a good book. It seems like I might have read it before (the title sounded familiar), but I don't remember anything in the story, so maybe I haven't read it. Anyway, it's pretty good. Sometimes I think adolescent literature is some of the best out there. I don't think one ever gets too old for it.

Yesterday I went by the library and they had two tables covered with books that they were giving away (they're making room for their fall book sale, I think), so I grabbed a few books.

I also watched Survivor last night. I've told myself that I'm going to try to keep up with it this season, but I've already missed 1/3 of the episodes, so we'll see how long that lasts. I have a really hard time trying to watch TV on a regular basis.

How nice, I just learned that a coworker's daughter has green snot running out of her nose. And now you've learned the same. MUST PROCURE 4TH WALL FOR CUBE!!!! Take up a collection for me if you have to. I'm going to continue to feed you guys the same disgusting information I'm assailed with until I get that 4th wall.
