The state Uhaul ruined was Hawaii. Of all the things to depict about hawaii. What about a pineapple? A palm tree? A toucan? None of those are popular phobias, as far as I know.
I'm over it now. That was my final rant about Uhaul.
How many of you have had the absolute pleasure of hearing a CSEPP commercial on the radio or seeing one on TV? Do they purposefully go around Pine Bluff looking for the most ignorant people they can find to put on a commercial? (No offense to anyone who has a relative in one of the commercials.)
I was thrilled (and well aware of how strange it was that I was laying in bed looking up CSEPP commercials on a Saturday evening) to find that all of the commercials are available on the CSEPP website (this link actually works!).
I'll include links to a couple of my favorites.
I'm pretty sure this first lady is related to me, but I can't prove it. She reminds me of my Aunt Nadine. This link doesn't work. It's #2 of the 2005 TV commercials.
And then the last lady in this clip...at least she's honest! This link doesn't work. It's #3 of the 2005 TV commercials.
The point of these commercials seems to be to show the public how stupid the residents in the area are. You would think that if someone is really trying to get information out to the public, they would coach the characters in the commercials so that they would give right answers. There's even one commercial in which the guy asks a lady to give him the website address for CSEPP and she gives him the wrong one. He has to correct her. Do you really want to make a commercial in which the wrong website address is advertised?
