I think I must have needed a little extra challenge to my sanity this year so I'm apparently cramming almost all of the major stressful life events into a few months. Feeling much less overwhelmed than I was at first, but wow! Crazy.
This weekend I have a super good friend coming into town to go dress shopping with me and she's agreed to help me remove wallpaper. That's a true friend, y'all. I'm going to reward her for her efforts with cookies. Do unto others and all that jazz. It's the type of reward I would appreciate.
Anybody want to hold a garage sale for me? A house sure can accumulate a lot of stuff in 10 years. I have lots of purging to do.
My mother's question? What are you going to do with all of your books?! She has her finger on the pulse of my literary obsession. Maybe one day I'll have time to read again. :)

At least I had fun! I just saw it as an opportunity to catch up with an old friend and to visit with you before you leave me! (insert crying sob-fest here).
And I had the BEST peanut butter milkshake ever that weekend! >:O And plenty of sweet tea, so it was all good :)
