When my bug buy (also known as MyHeroJody) showed up yesterday, I scrambled around and had him spray lots of inanimate objects he probably had no intention of spraying to begin with.
He saw that I was delirious and was probably afraid of what might happen to him if he didn't comply, so he did as I asked.
Before he left, I asked him to go out back and check the dog house (since that has been a popular Black Widow hotel in the past). The good news is, there were none in the dog house. But while he was out there, he started looking around.
Things you never want to hear your bug guy say:
1. See that web right there? That's the kind of web a Black Widow makes.
2. Bet there's one in there.
3. Whoa! That's a big one!
Me: Eggs! I see eggs! Do you see those eggs! Ack! (unintelligible muttering) Make it die! Make it die!
Him: Yeah, there's a few eggs. It's gonna be OK. Calm down, calm down.
I'm going to start embracing a minimalist lifestyle. The less stuff I have, the less hiding places spiders. Don't think I'm kidding.

Awww...I am sorry that you are having such trouble with the Black Widows.
Hey, this is Sara (remember we talked on the phone once?...at least...I think we did.) ANYWAY. I just wanted to let you know that I am a sick sick person and though you probably don't want to know why i'm going to tell you anyway...I think you screeching MAKE IT DIE, MAKE IT DIE! is pretty freaking funny. That is ever so slightly sadistic. However, embracing a minimilist lifestyle? well for that matter, scary spiders lurk everywhere...little amount of stuff or large amount of stuff...Have a nice day, and be on the look out for those hords of black widow spiders...they are lurking everywhere...
:) It's me again. Sara is sitting next to me in chapel. I hope that the bug man helped out a lot. But just remember, you are under God's protection. The spiders are not bigger than Him. :)
I still have not put the letters in an envelope, but I am going to soon. :D I will probably write you a new one.
While y'all are in chapel, you should be PRAYING THE SPIDERS OFF MY PROPERTY as mentioned in a previous blog post. You should NOT be playing on the internet or insinuating that there are spiders everywhere. (I had a fear that one was nesting in my hair yesterday, no joke.)
Sure, I'm under His protection if He decides to use it, but so far He sure hasn't chosen to protect me from having them invade my life and causing me undue stress. I am not pleased. I don't know how much more I can take. I wish He would just come get me, but with my luck he's probably sent all the dead ones to my mansion as some kind of cosmic joke.
I've seen a few B/Widows in my day here...but they always seem to be very elusive. I'm not sure I know of anyone who's been bitten.
