I have nothing earth-shattering (or gross) to share today.
Oh...maybe I do.
For those of you who are keeping up, my parents were able to get my cousin into the group home! That's a big answer to prayer. They are going to move her furniture and stuff out there on Sunday and she'll start living there on Monday. My cousin has kind of mixed emotions about it. She's excited about it because of all the activities they get to do (they have dances and play games and go shopping and all kinds of stuff), and she got some new furniture that she's excited about, but it's a big change and she's a little nervous. One of the drawbacks is that for 30 days after she moves out there, nobody can go visit her or call her (that's the adjustment period and they want her to get used to living out there before she has visitors). That's kind of tough, but she can get mail, so I plan on sending her some postcards and stuff once my mom gives me the address. My parents are going to be on vacation for part of the adjustment period, so it kind of worked out well in that sense. She wouldn't have gotten to see them during that time anyway.
So this weekend will be kind of a double graduation--my niece's graduation from high school and my cousin's graduation into independence.

Okay, I had to go back and read up on the "Dog-Dog" I love my baby too and I am glad poodles are not prone to anal difficulties (unless scooting your butt across the floor count. Anyway, I also read about the family "fun" center and I am positive that we are kindred spirits! My co-workers thought maybe I had finally gone off the deep end laughing. Anywho, glad I found ya and don't worry about the doggie TMI posts my "baby" (The Jazz Papi) would cringe if he knew the stuff I talked about when he wasn't in earshot!
