I'm Getting Too Old for This

I'm beginning to think I'm not technologically savvy enough to be a blogger. Either that or I'm old. People send me e-mails talking about feed burners and I have to write them back and say, "I have no earthly idea what you're talking about." Maybe I'm just too old to use the internet any more. Am I? Roz? (This month only, Roz is the expert on the elderly.) :) C'mon, you didn't think I was going to let it go, did you?

Anyway, I have learned a little about RSS feeds. If you haven't enabled them on your site since you moved to the new blogger, check your settings. It's just a check box that you have to click. I've stumbled upon a few blogs I'd like to visit regularly, but I have a hard time keeping up with them. I joined Bloglines today to help me organize them into one place that lets me know when someone makes a new post. I think I'll like it when I get the hang of it.

I also signed up for The Truth Laid Bear. I really have no idea what that is either, but the Blogging Chicks lady recommended that I join it. I think it might work a little like MyBlogLog (which I've also just joined recently. It's kind of a blog networking system. Or something. It has shiny widgets.) Unfortunately, I can't make heads or tails of it, so I've got a ticket in about how the heck to "claim" my blog. OH, breakthrough of breakthroughs, I've figured it out! I'm getting younger by the minute.

Anything else superfluous that I need to join and get a personal assistant to keep up with for me?

I'm drawing the line at Facebook.

Ha ha! :) I was wondering, One Month, when, not if, you were going to start commenting. This one seemed to come around kind of quick. lol :) I love 20. I have decided to keep it. In 2008 I will be 20-10 and so on. I saw it on Daddy's Little Girl's and thought it was the most logical way of counting ones age. Ha ha. I just had a funny thought. When I turn 20-20, I will have perfect vision. :)

Congrats on the 5000th visitor award. That guy said nice things about your blog. :) I am all proud to be your friend. One day I will say, my best friend is a famous blogger. :)

I like to use Google Reader for blogs since I already use gmail, blogger, google calender, etc. It's really easy to add blogs and then it's all in one place.

Hello! I still don't know what a RSS feed (or a feed, for that matter) is... Thanks for visiting!

You are doing fine and this post was really funny. There are some rude bloggers out there that will tell you if your site doesn't do this or doesn't do that they will click off immediately. Too slow to load, can't stand pink, etc. Good, please don't wait that long since we don't need your visit anyway...

Oh, you do "Link Love" just like you do your books, or music or blogroll. That's how I keep track of my daily reads!
