Due to my increasing age, my hair maintenance situation has gone from an occasional highlighting to a full out color fest. I cannot abide gray hair. I just can't.
Unfortunately, it costs a lot and takes a long time.
Every time I go see my hair chick, she pulls out the Fraggle cap. I've mentioned before that I think she's a sadist. There's no other explanation for it. Every time, I have to look at her with horror in my eyes and tell her I won't do the Fraggle cap. I mean seriously, my hair is way too long to endure that torture.
Anyway, I decided to do an experiment and start driving around with my sun roof open. I'm hoping it will bleach out my roots and help me avoid the hair sadist a little longer. So far, I haven't seen any results. But I have learned that my hair will stand straight up and fly out the sun roof while I'm driving down the interstate.

Be happy that you have hair for someone to be a sadist with.
All my sunroof does is burn my poor head. If my hair would fly out it I would never see those hairs again. Well at least I have a part of me that will remain tan all year even if no one can see it since I am 6'3".
I want to lighten my hair, but I'm afraid it will fall out if I try anything else :( It's so dry already from straightening it everyday.
