The Forgotten Child

I took a picture of Mercy today. I had shut her out of my bedroom while I was getting ready for work in hopes that she would take the hint and go eat something. When I was partially done with my morning routine, I opened the bedroom door and she was sprawled out in front of it (of course!). She jumped up on my bed and snuggled in between the pillows for a nap. That's when I took the picture. Unfortunately, my camera battery is still dead (it only lasted long enough for me to snap the picture), so I can't upload it at the moment. But when I do, you'll see how cute she is. I love her.

For this blog to be named after her, she certainly gets lots less press than her little sister. That's only because she's so well behaved that she doesn't provide me with any exceptional stories. I haven't forgotten I have her, nor has Butter replaced her as my favorite dog.

Here's another update about the Tobacco-Store-Turned-Post-Office. Their receipts list the name of their business as Tabacco Depot. You would think that with there being hundreds of tobacco products in the store, they could have checked the spelling.

Am I the only person in the world who didn't already know about this? I think it's a cool idea.

Yay, I can sign in!

I hadn't heard of that site until I read your post, and since then I've seen it referenced a couple of other places. I want those books. That's awesome.
