My Darling, My Hamburger is geared toward teens and is full of really heavy themes regarding bad decisions and the consequences that follow. It's really short and profound.

Thanks for stopping by.

I did a bookish 13 this week too. *grins* I LOVED the Rapture of Canaan and almost named my youngest Canaan. Autobiography of a Face is on my To Be Read list too. I forgot that one. I loved Truth and Beauty by Ann patchett, also about Lucy. Barbara Kingsolver is amazing, isn't she? I may have to add your others to my list. You seem to have good taste.

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog and I'm with Carrie, I haven't read any of these, aside from Harry Potter...I've watched Lemony Snickett--does that count?

I've jotted down some of these as I have a pre-teen daughter who'd love some of these.

Again, thanks for stopping by my blog and Happy TT

I really enjoyed The Kite Runner (once they finally got to the main life-defining event so that I could stop dreading "whatever it was" and just get on with reading!) but the Life of Pi really grossed me out.

LOVE all the Harry Potter books though.
