Did I mention that I'm off work for two weeks?
Anyway, my home computer seems to have abandoned me in my time of need. Luckily, my boyfriend is brilliant and gave me some kind of CD that allows me to run internet without using my hard drive. Who would have thought such a thing existed?
Basically I've been using my time off to be lazy. It's one of my favorite things to use time off to do. I've read quite a bit, so at least there's that. I'm going to cook dinner tonight, but I've just realized that means I have to go to the store (boo!) and I've realized that means that I have to make myself presentable (boo, hiss!). Nevertheless,I shall overcome.
And tonight is the Christmas shin-dig at my old church, so we're going to listen to Hayden serenade us.
I decided to let Mercy open her Christmas present early. She usually loves rawhide bones, but she's stared at it with contempt since I gave it to her. It's weird. Of course, I did note that it smelled like paint when I took it out of the package, so I guess I wouldn't want to chew on it either. I bet Butter won't mind the paint smell when I present her with hers, though. She's undeterred. I also got them new little name tags to go on their collars. Mercy had lost hers and Butter's had an old phone number on it. I feel much better about that now. It makes me nervous for them not to have "positive ID" on them at all times.
