On Gauchos

I realize that gauchos are a "cool" fashion trend right now, but I think they look ridiculous. Every time I see a chick wearing some shortish gauchos with tall boots, my mind goes back to my Amazon.com recommendations page and I think to myself, "That chick looks like Little Lord Fautleroy!"

I can't help but think that the gauchos will go down in history as fashion items that shouldn't have been. They will join such fashions as the "romper" from the 1990s. I don't know if you know what I'm talking about, but they looked like clown suits and they were all the rage when I was in Jr. High. I had two! I tried to google a picture of one, but all I came up with were "baby" rompers sized for adults who like to dress up like children--yeah, I had to stop my search before I got fired.
