Mosquito bites galore!

I have about 1000 mosquito bites from standing outside for a few minutes at the Country Club. {here's an aside...who decided to put a Country Club in College Hill? Is that a little random, or is it just me?} Some of them have just started swelling up today, so I'm sure I'll continue to find more. Mosquitos love me! Must be because I'm so sweet.

I made my first ever batch of turkey spaghetti sauce last night. I don't like turkey spaghetti. Now I know. I should have just done a half batch, in retrospect.

I have begun to master the art of fried garlic though. Our infused oil needs more herbs and needs to have more time to infuse. It was OK, but the flavor wasn't as strong as I would have liked. We'll keep adding stuff to it until we like it.

I don't quite have this domesticated business down yet, but I guess you learn by experimenting. I have to start somewhere, I suppose. At least until my fairy Godmother shows up and starts cooking food that I can pass off as my own. I'm still keeping my fingers crossed for that.
