If my last name were Mraz, I'd buy a vowel.

And that statement has absolutely nothing to do with my blog. Just an observation.

So did ya miss me? I don't even know where to start, it's been so long. The trip went fine. I uploaded a bunch of pictures to yahoo photos. If you didn't get a link and you want to see them, let me know. My camera decided to die about mid vacation, but luckily I had already taken a bunch of pictures, plus I'm getting copies of Kevin's pictures. I coaxed Kevin into not one but two evenings of beach photoshoots. Bless his heart, but we got some great pictures.

We went to the Gulfarium which is kind of like a mini Sea World. It was fun. I guess I've never seen dolphins in real life before, so that was cool.

I went snorkeling for the first time ever and actually liked it. It's not bad after you get over the initial panic.

There was seaweed everywhere. It was really gross and annoying, but once we started snorkeling, we saw that there are tiny fish that live in the clumps of seaweed and they're colored just like the seaweed, so you don't see them unless you're really looking. So that was pretty cool. And we found a dollar and a big shell while snorkeling too. We were regular Jacques Cousteaus. I did get a mouth full of water one time and start gagging, but I was OK.

And what's up with people peeing in the ocean? Someone please back me up and confirm that I'm not the only one who thinks that's gross and/or has pee fright and cannot make herself do it. I was taunted many times by people who call the ocean "God's bathroom". Animals. Of course, these same people pee in their showers, so what do you expect? Animals.

Went to Hooters for the first time ever. That was interesting. I just don't see what all the fuss is about. I got a T-shirt. It's cute. Went to Fudpuckers for the first time ever too and got a T-shirt there too. They have lots of alligators and people kept trying to feed them, but they weren't hungry.

I got sunburned a little on my scalp, so it looks like I have a rockin' case of dandruff and my head itches like crazy. I was really trying to avoid that by putting my hair up before going to the beach, but bad waves happened to good hair and that was that. Other than that I really didn't get a whole lot of sun.

And today I have a dentist's appointment. No better way to acclimate back into the real world than starting off the week with a dentist's appointment.
