Free at last, free at last!

Hooray for Friday!

I think I'm down to one more load of laundry before I can leave for vacation. If you could see the packing system I have going you'd know for sure I'm insane, so I won't go into any details, but let's just say it involves an itemized list on a dry erase marker board.

We've got beach umbrellas! We've got snorkels! We've got CRAB TRAPS! (not really, but we do have a net with which to scoop up crabs) I'm not sure if I'm coordinated enough to snorkel. If I drown whilst snorkeling, know that I love you. Someone take care of my dogs. They prefer to sleep inside and they like to cuddle.

I still haven't received the imminent last minute phone call from my mother spreading gloom and doom about the many dangers I will encounter. My bet is that her tale of woe will involve sharks and rip currents. She might throw in a jelly fish and a hurricane for good measure.

We're leaving bright and early in the morning (7am), so this will likely be my last blog for awhile.

If anything important happens while I'm gone, call me! I will put down my fruity beverage long enough to hear about important or even unimportant but amusing events.

As an aside, is everyone aware that Wal-Mart sells pasties? I doubt they're stripper quality or anything, but they sell them as an alternative to those crazy backless strapless bras. And they have quite a variety! Just thought I'd share.

OH...and happy wedding to Mary! I'm sad that I won't get to see you, but I wish you and Mark all the luck and happiness in the world.
