Thank you, Bath and Body Works. Two thumbs up for Magnolia Blossom. It's intoxicating.
Happy Friday to everyone! It seems like this week has creeped by, but tonight is Turkey Taco Night and that makes the week worthwhile. I still need to straighten the house up a little bit in preparation, but that shouldn't take too much effort.
You know what gets old? People who get married to a slug (knowing he was a slug to begin with)and then complain to everyone who will listen about how much of a slug they married. OR, or, people who have kids and then complain about their kids being kids. Or complain about having to spend time with them on the weekend when they're not in daycare. Too bad! As my aunt used to always say, "Put up or shut up." And if you can't stand the one that you already have, don't have another one. Use some common sense. It just makes me sad when people never seem to enjoy their kids. But maybe I'll have a different perspective one day, I hope not.
And what bothers me more than that is when those same people who can't stand their own kids make judgements (usually loud and obnoxious ones) on people who actually enjoy their kids and stay home with them on purpose. "You're having another kid? Are you crazy? I can't imagine having three." Please don't then. Maybe it will cut down on your griping and moaning. :)
