So I took yesterday off for a couple of reasons:
1. My neck hurt really bad. It's been hurting since Tuesday (not sure why) and it's gotten progressively worse. I figured it would be good to lay in bed, take a muscle relaxer, and just chill for the day to try to see if it would get better.
2. My customers were traveling back, so there would be nothing for me to do at work anyway.
So I slept literally all day. I woke up yesterday evening and decided I wanted to go eat (imagine that!)and look for some new clothes for both my NY trip and my FL trip. I went to Penney's not really expecting to find anything. Usually anything I see in there is either geared toward the grandma crowd or toward the teenage hoochie crowd. But they actually had some really cute stuff for once. And the shorts I bought were buy one get one free (and a good length)and the pants I bought were marked down from $44 to $19.99. I still didn't get any dressy shirts, so I might go back today and look again. And I still need beachy shirts too.
Hey, guess what! Sunday is Father's Day and I haven't sent my dad his card yet because I haven't bought the gift card to go in it yet. What a loser! Anyway, I'll try to do that today.
I'm fairly pain free so far today, but that's because I woke up and took Advil all through the night. Hopefully it will at least be better today.
