Remember how yesterday I said I wanted to play in the rain after seeing the cirque du rain? And remember how in Captivating they talk about being romanced by God? Well yesterday he romanced me with a rainstorm while I was jogging.
This week is jog 4 minutes, walk 1 minute (6 times, 3 times a week--granted yesterday was the first time this week). The rain held off until about the last couple of minutes of our last jogging episode. Then the bottom fell out and it just poured. It was great. Running with shoes full of water, contacts floating around in your eyes where you couldn't see even if it wasn't 0% visibility, and screaming like a girl as you run around someone's neighborhood can't be beat.
When I was little, I used to beg my aunt to let me play outside when it would rain. She usually let me unless there was lightning. It kind of reminded me of that (except there was lightning last night). Good times.
It's supposed to be wintry this weekend, so I guess I'll join every Leroy and Jim Bob in the county and go to Wal-Mart today to pick up the essentials. That should be just about as much fun as when I went the day before Valentine's day. There must be people who only make it to Wal-Mart once a year or something...because people just stand in the middle of the aisle like they're confused about where everything is or where they are or what they're supposed to be buying or something. I fight the urge to ram them with my buggy.

Enjoyed reading your musings. 4got how funny you can be. Reminds me of the notes we used to write back in school.....FOF RULEZ!!!! Amanda
Tell Leroy that Jim Bob says "hey."
Actually, it's trips to Wal-Mart that have me convinced I wouldn't make a good parent. I'm usually a nice person, but the 8 billion screaming kids in that place cause me to have some very evil thoughts.
