Is it Really Friday?!

I could do a dance of joy! But I won't.

Speaking of dancing, I miss MARY. Last Sunday night at the church I visited it was some kind of youth choir festival thing, and in one of the songs there was also an "interpretive movement" person because heaven forbid you should use the word "dance" in a Baptist church! Anyway, I started giggling because I can't think of interpretive dance without thinking of Mary even though Mary is very rusty with her interpretive dance routines these days. Giving the appearance of cutting one's wrists is not interpretive dance, I don't think, but it'll do and makes for a photo op. :)

I talked to Mandy this week. She's doing OK. I'm trying to talk her into moving to Central Arkansas. She's not totally against the idea, but she wants to stay at her current job for a year before doing anything different. She invited me to go stay with her the first weekend of December (which I'm going to try my best to do) because Tim will be at some conference in CA.

My poor dogs just keep getting boarded and boarded. It makes me sad for them. I wish I could just take them along wherever I go, but alas I cannot. I'm going to see my sister and her family in AL next week for Thanksgiving, so the girls will be boarded for that. Then I'll go see Mandy and they'll get boarded again like a week later. Then comes Christmas. Mercy travels with me for Christmas, but Butter will have to be boarded again. My mom and dad don't allow psycho dogs to stay at their house. Go figure. I really should get some kind of frequent boarder discount! When I called to make reservations for them for Thanksgiving, the guy asked me my name and he said, "Oh, you've got Butters!" They refer to her in the plural for some reason.

OHHHHH my. I'm deeply saddened and embarassed by my less than stellar attempt to recapture my days of interpretive dance. However, when I review that moment in my head, it's just as funny (but in a semi-pathetic way) as when I could actually put on a good show. :)
