What a Downer

I finished reading The Bridges of Madison County last night. I guess I'm a little behind the times because though I had heard of it, I had never read it or seen the movie.

When I finished it, I just wanted to lie in bed and cry. I'm still sad today. I want to go back and rewrite the book so that the characters can be happier.

I started reading Midwives after I finished Bridges because I didn't want to go to sleep so depressed. I didn't know much about Midwives either, and it looks like it will probably be sad too. So far, it's pretty good. Well-written at least. I'm only a chapter or two in, so maybe the author will save the really depressing stuff for the end.

Anyway, new topic. I just drank some water and when it went down my throat, it sounded like a cow mooing. MOOOOO!
