You're Too Kind

It was a lot of fun to come back from vacation and see bunches of new comments. Yay!

Is it wrong to write a blog entry while you're on a conference call? I've got mad multi-tasking skills, y'all.

Anyway, I'm back. Here's a somewhat brief summary of vacation (I'll upload a few pictures to help illustrate later).

Saturday night: Arrived at destination. We got settled in, went to the grocery store from HELL (aka Wal*Mart) and spent way too much time there. No employees or fellow shoppers were murdered during our jaunt there (barely).

Went back to our abode and put groceries up. Decided to walk out to the beach and look for crabs (you're never too old for that!). Jellyfish everywhere. Mounds of them washed up on the beach as far as the eye can see. We added them to our crab bucket and watched them float around as we lamented the fact that we probably weren't going to be able to get in the water that week.

Went back to our condo and flipped through the channels only to land on a Discovery Channel show called KILLER JELLYFISH! Awesome!

By the end of the week, we had all been stung at least once, but it wasn't too bad. Most of the jellyfish were little purple ones and I guess their stings didn't pack a very bad punch.

Other than that, it was a good trip. We had lots of fun with our traveling companions.

We dug up sand fleas (who knew there was such a thing!) They were very creepy.

We found sea snails too. I let one crawl on me. He was cute. And hermit crabs. There was even a sting ray sighting by a certain slightly frightened Tainer. Good times.
