
He blends in pretty well, doesn't he? When I stepped onto Kevin's patio yesterday, he started to scurry away. I'm a big fan of lizards, so I forced him into a photo shoot. One of the interesting things about this guy is that he looks so boring from this angle. But when you flip him over...

You can see that he's got this very bright blue stripe down his side and under his throat. I bet he's very popular with the lady lizards. This might the be lizard equivalent of a sort of reverse mullet (business on the back, party on the front).
I also took some pictures of Kevin's azaleas.

That was the bitin'-est lizard I've ever caught. Pretty feisty to not really have any teeth...
Note to readers: The azaleas were there when I bought the house. I'll freely admit that I like lizards, birds, and frogs... and I even have the occasional house plant... but I'm not a flowerbed guy. To be real honest, I didn't even know those were there until your friendly blog-owner told me about them.
Seriously. For tha real. I mean it.
Yeah yeah. The next thing you know, he'll be saying that he didn't know they were pink.
