I've been wondering what I should blog about all day, and I still haven't really come up with anything earth-shattering.
Saturday, my cousin was in town (kind of--we met her in LR on her way to Memphis), so we had lunch with her and her boyfriend. It was the first time I'd met him. He seems nice enough. Anyway, I kind of threw out the idea that we all need to go on vacation this summer. I hope that comes to fruition because I've since found some extra-cute vacation rentals that don't cost an arm and a leg. We shall see.

Is Butter's Pink Eye ever going to go away? I think not. We had to have a heart to heart last night about her turning her head when I put the drops in and wasting the medicine. I don't think she listened though. Not fun at all.

My sister e-mailed me the other day and said she's going to my mom and dad's for a week starting Saturday. Is she possessed? Anyway, misery loves company, so she wants me to go down there and hang out while she's down there. By hang out, she means "help her paint my parents' bedroom". The last time she and I teamed up to paint a room in their house, she moved the paint bucket behind me (without telling me) and I knocked it over and got blamed for it. I see trouble written all over this venture. The good news is that they had this really ugly booger-green carpet at the time and we pretty much ruined it and it had to be replaced. Not the type of people who learn from their mistakes, they had it replaced with hunter green carpet. They let their cat pick it out. Or at least that's the story I was told. Anyway, they still have that carpet in their bedroom, so who's to say what might happen! (accidentally, of course) They'll thank us later. I'm not staying the whole week, though. Only a couple of days. I have my limits.

This weekend, Granny. I mean Roz. :) I'll probably come down there either on Sat. or Sun. and stay through Tues. or Wed. I don't think I'm taking either of the girls with me, so I won't stay long. I'll let you know when I know for sure when I'll be there.
Leigh- Yes, green carpet. Twice in a row. These are sensible people, but somehow just not when it comes to carpet.
