DST and I are in a Fight, and DST is Winning

I am not recovering well from the time change. Spring time change is always hard on me because I am NOT a morning person. Lately, I've compounded it by staying up later than I should. Sometimes I don't have good sense.

Last night, I had designs on going to bed early-ish to kind of catch up. I was in bed by 10:00. Then, before I knew it, I was up again because Princess Furry Crackhead was throwing a fit. I figured it was morning already, so I scrambled around for my earplugs to buy a few minutes more of sleep. She was more determined than my earplugs, so I rolled over and looked at the clock. Three (3) AM. I got up and swatted her little behind and sent her outside. She hasn't done that in quite awhile. By the time I got back in bed, I was pretty much wide awake and it took me another hour to go back to sleep. So much for "catching up" on my sleep. Interestingly enough, when I let her out, I noticed that my windows were shaking. My idiot neighbors had their bass up so loud (at 3 AM!) that I could hear it in my house before I opened the door. No wonder she woke up. I would have swatted them too, but I couldn't tell which house it was coming from. (I can't help it, I'm getting old!)

In other news, I'm breezing through the Georgia Nicolson books. I'm learning all kinds of British slang and finding cheeky ways to incorporate them into my every bloody sentence. The British are funny people. In one of the books, they take their cat to have it neutered and she refers to it as having his "trouser snake addendums done away with". Can you beat that? I don't think so.

I used to have trouble waking Josh up at 7am in the mornings to go to work, and now that I'm home. He's up a 5ish-6ish every morning...not to mention he likes to wake up all hours of the night wanting to play v.v at least you can throw yours outside. ;)

I have some extra ear plugs, if you need them! ;)

The bad thing is, when I put my ear plugs in, I can't hear my alarm clock which is right by my head, but Butter's high pitched barking and howling comes through loud and clear...with my bedroom door closed...and she's on the total opposite side of the house.
