I walked outside a minute ago to water a couple of plants that aren't looking so great and when I picked up my water hose, I noticed that there was a cat napping behind one of the bushes. (This is the spot where a cat normally jumps out and scares me) I said, "Hey, what are you doing hanging out in my flower bed?" and it just turned its head around and looked at me. I reached down to touch it and it hissed at me. So I said, "Oh nuh uh! You are not going to hang out in my flower bed and then hiss at me." By this point it had gone off and wandered down my side walk. So when I was done watering my plants, I watered the little corner where the cat had been lying.
Then I saw it peeking around the corner at me, so I walked over and said, "What's wrong with you?" (It was growling at me by this point). It started walking away from me and I noticed it kind of hops more than it walks. The more I watched it, the more I began to think that it either has a broken leg or something is wrong with its hip or something. So now I feel like crap because I hate to see hurt animals (even if they are cats) and the poor thing is probably in pain and it doesn't even have a place to sleep now.
It's official, I'm a horrible person.

Nah, you should have watered the cat. Poor thing sounded dry.
