Thanksgiving

Today was Thanksgiving potluck day at work. Here's a tip to fellow onion haters: don't trust anything you didn't cook yourself. People put onion in the strangest things. Hashbrown casserole? It had so much potential! Thank goodness I didn't find any onions in the mashed potatoes or the macaroni and cheese. You can't trust anybody these days!

My sinuses are draining. Bleh.

I've almost got all of today's work done and it's just 1:30. I should be just about done for the week, actually. I doubt my customers will be doing much tomorrow and I hope that we get a note that says we can go home early.

Still haven't heard a game plan from my parents about Thanksgiving. How very considerate of them. I finally called my dad this morning and put some pressure on him about it and he said he'd let me know for sure tomorrow. In the meantime, now everyone who has come into contact with my nephew is falling ill, so I would kind of rather them just stay up there and not spread the funk. I told them not to come home on account of me or anything, but that I really did need to know what they were doing so I could plan accordingly.

I called the Meth-head kennel and asked if they had any kind of cancellation policy and he said, "Naw, we don't really have no policy. We'll just beat your dog the next time we see it ." Really nice, Mr. Meth.
