Candy is my Friend

The church visit last night went well. I was able to get some information that I needed regarding small groups, etc. They brought me a bunch of stuff, including some Hershey's kisses of various flavors (did you know there's such a thing as caramel filled kisses? If you need proof that there's a God, there it is.). They must have known that I can be bought with candy. I'm pretty much a candy whore. I'll eat, with wild abandon, just about any chocolate that's thrown at me. Anyway, if I get brave between now and then, I'll probably try out a small group there on Sunday (not just because of the candy).

Today I got my free flu shot. I went over with Hayden who is pretty terrified of needles, but she did fine. She's well on her way to overcoming her fears and someday becoming a blood donor. :) When I got back, mommy-parts was asking whether they had extra flu shots available. It's probably a good idea for her to get one since she pretty much picks up every ailment in the free world.

Did I mention that Butter slept all night the night before last? Well, she slept until 5ish this morning too, cried for a few minutes, and then shut up until I let her out of her crate. I'm really hoping that she's settling down. They both went crazy barking at the neighbor's dog again this morning, though, so Mercy is on house arrest today.

OH, and I have another blog update. I enabled RSS feeds of my blog yesterday, so if you use a newsreader (right, K?) and want to subscribe, you can click the link at the bottom of the page.
