Monday should be a Holiday

Working four days a week is the way to go.

I was off work yesterday (thus the lack of blog), and I've decided that nobody should have to work on Monday. It makes the week go by faster.

I mowed the yard on Saturday and thought I was going to have a heat stroke...especially since the back yard was thigh high with weeds. I was having to throw all of my bodyweight into the mower to make it move a couple of inches at a time (and it's self-propelled). And this is why I HAVE to mow every single week, folks. We don't need a repeat of that.

Let's see...what else is coming up this week?
1. Weed eating frenzy
2. Flower bed redoing...or at least weed killing/pulling.
3. House cleaning (it's still a health hazard)
4. Riverfest weekend, featuring my lovely cousin Sonya...well, actually she won't be performing, but she will be visiting me!

I guess that's about it. It doesn't seem like a whole lot when I present the macro view, does it?

I made pao de queijo this weekend. Heh (that's my evil laugh for those of you who don't know). Kevin is not a fan. I'm going to try not to let it be a deal breaker. He sniffed it for a long time before he would even take a bite....that's about the worst thing you can do to pao de queijo considering how rank it smells. It was fun to watch though.

I'm sitting at my desk wearing my headphones, and there's no music coming out of them. How very odd. How long has this been the case? Probably all morning. I'll remedy it so I won't be such a freak anymore. It's worth a try.
