I smell like dog.

I've had the laziest day ever.

I took a really long nap today. This afternoon I decided it would be a good day to mow my yard, but I was out of gas for the mower, so I had to go fill up my little gas can. Did that, decided it was too chilly outside to mow (and that I was too lazy to mow), so I came home and decided to cut the dogs' fingernails.

Cutting doggy fingernails is the worst. They hate it and I hate it and that's just a bad mixture. But it's really quick when they behave and there's no sense paying $8 per dog when I can do it myself. So I finally coaxed them into it and now I smell like dog. I rewarded them with special treats when they were done (doggy biscuits with peanut butter in between them).

I really need to go take a shower, but I'm not sure if I'm supposed to go running with H tonight or not. I called her a couple of hours ago and asked about it and she said she needed to call her folks and find out if she was supposed to do something with them, but she hasn't called me back. I'd hate to jump in the shower just to find out that I'm supposed to go jog and get stinky again in a couple of minutes. So I guess I'll wait it out for a little longer. I'm kind of taking that as a sign that there will be no jogging tonight, but you never know. It'd actually be a pretty good night for it, but I don't feel like going by myself.
