I'm a Success!

At least I'm a success at finding shoes. A very important life skill, if you ask me!

I found some running shoes today, on sale even! And yes, they are pink and gray. I was trying to keep an open mind about some blue ones and some purple ones, but they didn't have my size in those, so pink it was.

I also went back to my piercing place and told them my barbell thingy was killing me. The bottom ball has been poking me in the belly button and making it sore. So I switched it out for one with a ginormous ball in the bottom...which also makes the barbell part shorter so it won't move around as much. We'll see if that helps. She told me I was taking good care of it. Yay! No gangrene! It's kind of white trash because the ball parts are acrylic and kind of loud, but if I really cared about being white trash in that regard, I probably wouldn't have it pierced! It already feels about 8000X better.

During my shoe shopping adventure, I stopped at SF Bread Co. for lunch. There were these people there who were singing and playing their Casio keyboards. They're called www.fireandbrimstonemusic.com. Anyway, I kind of felt sorry for them for awhile because nobody was really paying attention to them, everyone was more interested in eating. But then they started playing Don't Worry, Be Happy and all of my sympathy for them went away. Even Bobby McFerrin knows not to sing that song anymore. They're there every Saturday from 12-4 though if anyone's into that.
