Well, yesterday was my monthly weigh and measure day at Curves.
I was encouraged when I saw that I was down another pound and 1/2. Then they started with the measuring process.
Measuring is very frustrating because I've been measured 3 times since I started, and each time a different person has measured me. This might not seem like a big deal, but apparently they have no standard about where to place the measuring tape on the body when taking a measurement. Last month they measured my arm in the middle of my upper arm. Last night they measured it right under my arm pit--thus it looks like I've gained 2 inches in my arms. Do they think I'm on anabolic steroids or something? Why didn't she say, "Oh, that can't be right!" As it turns out, when she she wrote down all of my measurements, it looks like I've actually gained more inches than I lost last month.
I'm thinking about requesting a recount tomorrow night.
